About Heath

Hi, I’m Heath, founder of Eternal Balance. I'm a Tucson native and retired firefighter recently relocated to Liberty Hill, TX. I have a fairly diverse background in assorted finance roles.

I was fortunate to spend over 25 years in the fire service  in a variety of roles. While I certainly preferred helping those in need from a fire station, I started my financial duties early in my career. For nearly 10 years, I served as the Firefighter Union’s Treasurer, managing an annual budget of $65,000 and tracking expenses using accounting software. I steadily progressed through fire department ranks up to the level of Fire Chief prior to retiring from the fire service. My budget oversight as a Fire Department Officer ranged from $400,000 to just over $13M per year. After retiring from the fire service, I started my own woodworking business to include budgeting and general ledger duties.

The summer of 2024, my wife was offered her dream job in Austin, TX, and we decided it was time for our family to experience someplace new. So we packed up our kids, dogs, and horses, and headed to Liberty Hill! We love spending time outdoors and our weekends are filled with exploring the San Gabriel River, treasure hunting at thrift stores throughout Leander and Cedar Park and discovering fun things to do in Georgetown and Round Rock. I'm excited to say that I'm a bookkeeper in Liberty Hill and am eager to team up with you!
